A Rhythm Journey! ARTreachwas awarded a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts to
help bring performing artist Dan Egger-Belandria from Austin, Texas to
the Youth Activities Center in Richmond/Rosenberg. Dan Egger-Belandria
is a professional performing artist listed on the TCA roster. His
workshop is titled “Rhythm in Action” and introduces percussion
instruments and drumming styles as an effective tool for expressing
emotions, communicating and managing stress. Dan is able to demonstrate
through music the impact of a person’s choice to take action or take
inaction to make good things happen. This is a motivational
presentation that will spark enthusiasm and promote a healthier group
dynamic.
These videos are a selection from our animated photo montages. These special photo montages are animated with lots of action, motion and dissolves, instead of the typical slide show. This album contains a variety of videos that are specific to wedding events.
Wedding Day Highlight Videos "WDH" - usually 5-to 8 minutes in length. These are actually short films created by cinematic story-telling techniques and highly digitally edited to condense an entire wedding day into this highlight video.
Wedding Trailer - Motion Picture style edited sequence to "announce and generate anticipation" for the Newlywed Couple's upcoming Wedding Film on DVD.
Super 8mm Short Films - sometimes we are commissioned to shoot only super 8mm film, and these videos are short clips that illustrate the vintage look of super 8 mm film. I love to film weddings in super 8mm, too.
Since 2004, ARTreach has recognized the greatest and most creative people in our community annually for their support and involvement in arts education and outreach. ARTreach asked their nominated "2009 Heroes" to participate in a special workshop to create an original work that will be the highlight of an October 22nd exhibition (details below). This work of art will become a 2009 signature piece that represents ARTreach's mission and supporters. This unique Heroic project was designed by Houston artist Elizabeth Bailey. The 2009 Heroes were invited to the Heroic Workshop held at Berryhill Baja Grill at the Villagio in Cinco Ranch on Friday evening, August 21, 2009. They were asked to stop by between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to add their heroic touch to this Chair-itable work in progress! The 2009 ARTreach Heroes will be the guests of honor at the 2009 "Chair-ish the Arts" exhibition and reception which will be at the Villagio Town Center in Cinco Ranch on October 22, 2009. Thank you for the work you do and for supporting ARTreach ...because ART works!
Oh! By the way, both Janet and Sandy Buller are among the 2009 ARTreach Heroes.

Elise and Aaron were married on August 2, 2008 at Butler's Courtyard in League City, Texas. We enjoyed filming their very beautiful outdoor ceremony and elegant dinner reception. Below is a short highlight of their rehearsal, and this footage was shot on a super 8mm camera with vintage Kodachrome 40 film.
Jennifer and Daniel were married on April 17, 2009 at Agave Road in Katy, Texas. Agave Road provided a wonderful setting for Jennifer and Daniel's wedding even though it was raining and their outdoor wedding moved indoors.
One of the special moments was when Jennifer surprised Daniel before the wedding with a tap on his shoulder and a kiss. They also excited their guests at the beginning of the reception by being introduced and dancing to a classic Led Zeppelin song.
They kept the party going all night with dancing and ending the evening with the traditional "Hullabaloo" Texas A&M Aggie War Hymn. And the party wasn't over until Jennifer tossed her bouquet right before she and Daniel left their reception in grand form in a classic corvette stingray.
Before the wedding, Jennifer surpised Daniel with a sneak peek of her. So watch the following video as we produced this movie style trailer as it is a sneak peek of their wedding film.
Marie and Jason had a beautiful wedding in Lufkin, Texas on July 12,
2008. Their wedding day was full of special moments and details from
their first glance at each other to the ice chest full of vintage
bottles of Coke-a-Cola. We felt that their wedding day was going to be
unique, so we added some super 8mm film footage. The super 8mm film was
prepped for this video at Cinelicious in Los Angeles, CA.
We wish Marie and Jason huge blessings, love and happiness in their new life together.
