Royal High School Marching Band headed to the Orange Bowl

The Royal High School Marching Band was selected as the only band to represent the state of Texas in the 2009 Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.  This is a great opportunity and honor for our students as well as Brookshire, Pattison, and surrounding areas.  Over the past six years, the band students have participated and placed in several competitions, including holiday parades, marching band competitions, and countless community performances, not to mention first place in last year's Martin Luther King Marching Band Competition.

The band directors are planning fundraisers to assist with the trip, but this performance will need the assistance of the entire community as well as the state to ensure a successful trip for the students.  Monetary donations are greatly appreciated, so we can represent our school and the fine state of Texas at the 2009 FedEx Orange Bowl.
