Jessica E. Akposhen, RN	Jessica has 1 1/2 years of home health experience. Oasis. SOC, post-hospital, recertification, discharge, routine, teaching, IV, wound care, wound vac, medication regeme.
Debra Coussens	Debra is a life-long resident of the Katy, Texas area. She has 20 years of experience in the medical field with a focus in geriatric care and management services. Debra maintains CMA and RMA registrations with the state of Texas.
Belinda Valla, RN	Belinda has 9 ½ years experience in home health.  She is presently employed full time as a postpartum nurse.  She has worked in Med-Surg, Emergency Room, Case Management, Discharge Planning and Labor & Delivery.
Jennifer Collazos,LVN	Jennifer obtained her BS degree from the University of Texas in 1998. She graduated from nursing school in early 2007 with a 4.0 grade point average while serving as class president. Jennifer was also a research assistant at MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas and began working in home health in 2007.
Phyllis Godwin, RN	Prior to employment with First Texas, Phyllis's past experience includes 3 1/2 years as a med/surg nurse. She also has over 10 years experience in quality, infection control and occupational health. Phyllis is certified in both infection control and case management.
Nandra Dennis, MSW	2007 member of the Sigma Phi Omega, Phi Alpha Honor Society. Interned at Parkway Place in Houston, Texas. Past experience with Sheltering Arms, St. Joseph Manor in Bryan Texas. She is also an interpreter for the deaf.
Tara Schneider, CNA	Tara has 3 years experience in home health.
Anne Frye, Business Development	Anne began her home health career at First Texas in 2005. Prior to home health, she was employed 10 years by Kimberly-Clark as an Account Manager. Anne has over 30 years experience in marketing and management. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1976 with a BS in Merchandising/Marketing.

Liz Kainer is a licensed physical therapist and Patty Wright is a licensed occupational therapist. They both received their Bachelor of Science degrees in 1989 at UTMB in Galveston.

They have been providing therapy services in a variety of settings for 19 years and are excited to now bring their knowledge and experience to 1st Texas Home Health in their hometown of Sealy.

They love the fact that their jobs allow them to help people get good quality rehabilitation in the comfort of their own home after a hospitalization, surgery or illness.  They specialize in treating patients who have had joint replacements, strokes, amputations, orthopedic surgeries, fractures, arthritis, heart surgeries, cancer, Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.

The patients are evaluated based on individual needs and then personalized goals are set. Basic home modifications are made to improve patient safety and mobility, promoting independence and allowing the patient to return to normal activities.

When home health is an option you have the right to choose the agency of our choice. 1st Texas Home Health is the one agency housed and locally staffed in Sealy.
