PAHS Thanks Caty Paben's Class for the Plant Sale Plants

Caty Paben's students from Royal High School volunteered to raise plants for the Pattison Area Heritage Society to learn the basics of running a business. That's exactly what they did.... They kept track of the expenses, germination rates, hours worked etc. and of course how much profit they could have made. Then they gave the plants to the Pattison Area Heritage Society for their annual plant and baked goods sales, which was on held on April 4, 2009. It was a very successful fundraiser and in return for their kindest, the Pattison Area Heritage Society took Caty Paben and her Royal High School students for lunch at Cici's Pizza in Katy, Texas on May 21, 2009. Each student (Caty, too) received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Pattison Area Heritage Society for their hard work and support.

PAHS - Fundraiser "Plant & Baked Goods Sale"

SATURDAY - APRIL 4, 2009

Mark your calendars and schedule your time to come to our fundraiser featuring some wonderful plants and baked goods that will for sale. 

Location: Across the street from Hard Times BBQ and in front of the
GOSTECNIK LAW FIRM (3811 Avenue G, Pattison, Texas 77466)
in downtown Pattison.

Time: 9:00 AM until ???? you guessed it - all of the plants and baked goods get sold.

2009 Sweet Heart Dance - Dance Contest Winners

 

1st place winners are Raul & Elva Hinojosa with Truett Bell, President of the Pattison Area Heritage Society handing out the box of chocolates as the prize.

2nd place winners were Judy & Herb Stallknecht.

and the 3rd place winners were Robin & Roger Holland.

The dance contest is always a lot of fun and there were alot of great couples out there giving it all they got. But it was these couples who took home the candy from this contest.

We really appreciate everyone who came out and supported our Sweet Heart Dance. We are looking forward to having another dance in the summer. So keep watching our blog for more information.

2008 - New Year's Eve Dance WINNERS

Winning first place was J.C. and Ninon Woodall

Second place went to Judge Karl Micklitz and Lorri LeBlanc 

And third place went to Matt and Karen Trout.

NEW YEAR'S EVE DANCE - That's Right

Pattison Area Heritage Society along with the help from the Pattison Area Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting for the first time in Pattison, Texas a New Year's Eve Dance.

The band "Night Shift" from over in Austin County are booked to perform and provide the festive dance music for the night. There will be black eyed peas and cornbread served by the PAVFD as the night rings in the beginning of 2009.

Dance will start at 8 PM. TIckets are available at the door for $20/person. This is a non-smoking environment, family friendly, but bring your own favorite drink mix and beverages. Coolers welcome.
