Emily & Blake | Engagement Photo Session

This past week I have a delightful time photographing a beautiful couple who are getting married in October 2011. Emily and Blake really didn't know what to expect during this shoot. But once we got started they didn't need much direction on what to do. They were so natural and at ease just hanging out in Richmond, Texas. And I am so glad that the red top cane field hadn't been harvested, too.

Congrats to Emily and Blake on their engagement and upcoming wedding!

From the Vaults of My Portfolio

These photographs have been in a portfolio case since around 1981. These photos are about 12x18 in size on the rectangular prints and 12x12 square prints. I shot the photo, developed the film and printed the photo in my old darkroom in Pattison, Texas.

This was an old house on our ranch. It was full of history, too.

ARTreach "Expresso Yourself" - Photo Slideshow

On April 7, 2010 at Agave Road in Katy, Texas, the ARTreach fundraiser "Expresso Yourself" was a delightful evening and Christine Stilwell, Development Director for ARTreach, delivered the intention of the event as it filled everyone's senses with coffee. Everybody got to touch it, smell it, taste it and see it; all for a great cause.

Sandy Buller said, "Coffee, it's not just a drink".  Check out the photographs and you can see for yourself the expressive collection of art that coffee was being used in various mediums from painting to culinary.
