Awesome Lunch Menu With Great Value

Stopped by Galileo's today to get some lunch and do what I wanted to do about a month ago when I first tasted their #14 on the lunch menu - Empanada's (Beef or Chicken). Today I got the beef empanada, but the chicken empanada's are just a yummy. The empanada's come with a very tasty special green sauce on the side that is out of this world incredible. For $5.50 plus tax, you can walk out of there for less than 6 bucks if you get water. Now that's value.

If you are in the neighborhood or even work around the Pattison and Brookshire areas, give Galileo's a try during lunch. They even cater to the teachers and admin staff at the nearby Royal ISD school campus. Just call in your order and it will be ready for pick up when you get there.

The BEST Burger in Texas & Texas Monthly Missed It

Until today, the best burger in the USA was in New Orleans at Yo Mama's just off of Bourbon St. and St. Peter http://www.yomamasbarandgrill.com/, but at lunch today I have found a burger joint called The Awakenings Alfresco Cafe' - Home of the Chuck Burger in Brookshire, Texas which merits being acknowledged as being equal to Yo Mama's and what is best about this hamburger joint is that is only 3 miles down the road (Yo Mama's is like 300 miles from me). I am excited about their quality and style of making hamburgers.

I wrote that last month, and I have eaten several chuck burgers since then, too. The consistency of the quality of the burger is awesome. I've haven't been disappointed, except when they took at week off to "go fishing", but you know everyone needs a vacation. So when they returned, without missing a beat, they were grilling to perfection, these "Chuck Burgers".

 

The August issue of Texas Monthly has an article of the best 50 hamburgers in Texas. Well, they missed out on eating the BEST, right here in Brookshire, Texas at the The Awakenings Alfresco Cafe' - Home of the Chuck Burger. That's right the BEST Burger in Texas.
