A Jubilee Celebration - 25th Anniversary, St. Maximilian Kolbe

On June 29, 2008, the Parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Community hosted a "A Jubilee Celebration" in honor of their 25th Anniversary. Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, presiding Archbishop of Galvestion-Houston was there for the special mass and BBQ lunch, which was prepared by the local Knights of Columbus. This video highlight commemorates this very special day for the Parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe and their focus on the theme "Building on Christ's Foundation for 25 Years."

ACS "Relay For Life" Katy, Texas - Highlight Tribute Video

We were asked to create a short video which conveyed the essence of the Katy/West Houston Relay for Life which supports the American Cancer Society. We said Yes, of course! Tom Zizka, morning anchor for Fox News, was the MC for the event and did a fabulous job. Austin musician, Darden Smith, graciously allowed us to use his song "Turning to You" as part of this score. Many thanks to everyone involved in making this a memorable event, especially all the great sponsors like BP. The Katy Relay for Life is now the 4th largest Relay in Texas since it raised $340,000.

Opening Wedding Scenes of Courtney and James' Cat Spring Wedding

This video is the opening scenes of Courtney and James' wedding video DVD. It leads the wedding video coverage up to the beginning of the wedding ceremony. What is unique for this video sequence is the soundtrack / music was a portion of audio that was recorded from the prelude music which was performed on guitars by Ryan Malone and Cory Maluski. Including this music on the wedding video DVD was a specific request from Courtney. And we are very glad that she did, because the music was terrific and provided an awesome background audio to introduce the wedding day video.

Jennifer Schafer, publisher of Premier Bride Greater Houston, was out in the Katy, Texas area meeting with Janet Buller delivering the latest "hot of the press" Winter/Spring 2007 issue of Premier Bride Greater Houston.

Best of the Best

This past Sunday evening, Sandy assisted as 2nd Cameraman for Edward Holtgraver, New Horizons Wedding Imagery at a Wedding Reception at The Houstonian. Edward is one of the world's master video artists and it was an honor for Sandy to assist him at this event.
The event was a beautiful wedding reception full of superb Greek music, dancing, and tradition. Also in the mix was Al and Carmen from Al Torres Photography ("Voted Houston's BEST Photographer - CITYSEARCH" - 2006) and they are nominated again for 2007 - good luck guys.

Sweet Spirit Productions attended Bridal Extravaganza Jan. 6/7 2007

Sweet Spirit Productions had an endcap booth on the red carpet aisle at the Winter 2007 Bridal Extravaganza Show. From the numerous leads and inquiries received, SSP is looking forward to scheduling the balance of this year's wedding video productions as well as next year's. Couples planning their wedding over a year in advance will save money by booking NOW for a 2008 wedding or event and locking in our 2007 prices! We want to extend our appreciation to Rhonda and Shymika who helped SSP at the show on Saturday, while Janet and Sandy left to go produce a wedding video.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and not only expressed interest in getting video for their wedding, but for their intention of having Sweet Spirit Productions be their videographer for their special day.
