The Books and a Buddy Literacy Program was created by Members Choice Credit Union to encourage the love of reading in school-age children by providing them with books to add to or start their own library at home. The books come in a fun backpack with a teddy bear inside to snuggle with while reading. Members Choice collected and purchased over 9,000 books for roughly 650 Kindergarten, First and Second Grade students. Thanks to all of our volunteers for helping make this happen.
And Buller Productions was there to film this event and create a 2 and a half minute video story to communicate this special and kind outreach that Members Choice Credit Union brings to the Katy Community.
